Very SturdyDec 22, 2008
By Terrence Masterson This is a well built arm. It is intended to be mounted to a wall (just find a stud) and then your smaller monitor/LCD TV mounted to it. The arms swing nicely right to left. The 'tilt' on the monitor bracket is very stiff - a good thing if you don't want your monitor looking at the sky or the ground after a few hours! Just remember, when hanging a monitor you still have to deal with cables and power. It comes with mounting hardware (Screws, offset sleeves, and more.). I recommend it.

Sturdy, versatile, and easy to use: a great valueApr 21, 2009
By Typhon2222 I used this Peerless PA730 Articulating Wall Mount (black) to mount a 22-inch display (Acer V223w).
It's a great deal. I couldn't be happier. The mount is very sturdy--I don't doubt that it could handle a 24-inch display with ease. The joints of the articulating arm are perfectly torqued/tensioned, meaning that the display can be swivelled and swung easily with a minimum of pressure on your part, but will never move on its own. But what makes it indispensable is not only that it allows the display to be tilted as well as swivelled and swung, but also to be LEVELLED/ROLLED. This is a crucial feature, since without it, the only way to level a non-levelled display is to drill all new holes in the wall and start all over again (!). Many articulating arm mounts in this price range don't come with this feature, but the Peerless PA370 does.
For the price, it's an unbeatable value.
NOTE: though it is sturdy, a little sag is inevitable. Because of this, I would recommend mounting it about half an inch higher on the wall than you actually want the display to be--this will compensate for the sag.

Can't beat for the price.Mar 20, 2009
By Adam Wittan This worked out great in our kitchen. Despite what I read in some reviews, the mount does tilt, as well as level. The only complaint I have is that it is not the most aesthetically pleasing mount I've ever seen. But a great value is impossible to beat in my book.

Perfect Small MountOct 26, 2009
By William James Great mount that is easy to install. I actually used it on a 24" iMac (slightly larger than the suggested range of displays) and it worked fine. At the maximum extension it was still stiff enough that no noticable sag occured. When the arm is fully extended the display has enough room to rotate a full 90 degrees so that it's perpendicular to the wall. However, this arm will not extend far enough from the wall so that the display will be able to be extended past an obstruction and rotated (like mounting it to a kitchen wall and being able to have the TV extend past wall cabinets and then turned 90 degrees); if you have a situation like this you'll probably need to buy a larger arm that will extend a greater distance from the wall. The reviews that suggest that this arm will not allow the display to be rotated are wrong. The plate that the display mounts to does, in fact, rotate. However, in order to keep the display from rotating on its own, the pivot for the rotation is very stiff. Without a display mounted to the plate you don't have enough leverage to rotate the mounting plate, but as soon as you mount the display, voila, you're able to rotate it to any angle you wish. All in all, this is a great little mount that allows you to neatly mount a flat panel display almost anywhere you want.

Peerless PA730 Articulating ArmJan 23, 2009
By Bob I bought this wall mount for a 19" LCD in the kitchen. It contained adequate instructions, parts and required tools for adjustments. One prior review said that it did not tilt, it does. It works well and I'm very happy with the purchase.
