Works on the Mac just fine!Nov 05, 2008
By Marc Silverman I'm using this headset with its USB connector on my Mac and it works perfectly with no problems. I tried the Microsoft LifeChat 3000 but the heavy-padded stereo earpieces were too bulky to use primarily for Internet phone. The Plantronics Audio 610 USB is much lighter in weight and more comfortable to wear. It's an excellent solution for my daily use of Skype for phone calls.

Great sound quality, weak head bandSep 10, 2009

I bought this headset because I was looking for a quality one-eared headset. The sound quality of the headset and the microphone are both very nice, and the 3.5mm to USB converter works like a charm.
I have two complaints: -The headset's head band is not very secure in the socket, and feels like it wants to twist out. -The head band is smallish, hot quite fitting around my head.

Good HeadsetFeb 29, 2008

Seems to work just fine, although it is a bit bulkier than my last headset. Hopefully that means it will be sturdier and last longer. The sound quality seems to be just fine outgoing form the mic and incoming to the headphone.

Seamless on a MacJan 21, 2009
By BeachBunny Pain in the rear to open the clamshell package (c'mon Plantronics, a cardboard box works fine), but a pleasure to use once it's finally out.
No real instructions included, just a slip which shows a rudimentary diagram. No instructions needed on the Mac 'though, just plugged in the USB adapter and it worked perfectly. No drivers to download/install.
Audio quality is good. I won't mistake these for the headphones I use in my recording studio, but more than necessary for using for VoIP (Skype & SIP). Comfort is very good. I almost don't notice I'm wearing it.
I've paid far more for inferior headsets that didn't come with a USB adapter. This one does and is the best lightweight headset I've used.

By WizGid I bought this to have discreet chats with my girlfriend and she liked it so much that I gave her mine and am ordering another for me.
