Wrong battery for USApr 29, 2009

I bought these batteries for the smoke alarms. Turned out their outer shell is longer than the 9V batteries in US. They wouldn't fit in the smoke alarms. I had to return them. One good thing is that returning on Amazon was unexpectedly simple. I filled out an online return form and got to print out a return label. I put the label on the shipping box and delivered to the post office. One week later I got my full refund.

I bought 4 boxes of these batteries. Big mistake: they last only 45 min. in our baby monitor ! We never had that problem with other brands of 9V batteries. So stay away...
