GreatSep 09, 2009
By velocityg4 I had only ever played the first 3D Prince of Persia on the PS2. But this trilogy is awesome and still works in Windows 7 x64. Even in widescreen with widescreen hacks.
I also played these games using the XBOX 360 controller. The first had some issues with the analog controller (walking when I wanted to run) but it was not too bad and I was able to compensate.

Great TrilogyMar 31, 2010

The Sands of Time trilogy is an excellent set of games. Between all the stunts, combat mechanics, and puzzles you have to solve, there's a great balance between using your brain and slashing your way through oppponents. As far as story goes, the overall story is pretty good, though the feel in the first game was infinately better than the feel in the other two.
Personally, I like where the new Prince of Persia series is going, that first game has an even better "storybook" feel to it than the Sands of Time. Of course, that series is less combat intensive than this one. If you want more combat-oriented action, this is the way to go

good deal if you haven't played themMar 08, 2010
By John Doe It's a good deal if you haven't played the games before. I didn't bother with the first game, since I've played it on the xbox. I had installed the latter two games on pc (windows 7 64bit). However, I had to turn off the fog option in the graphics setting for the second game to play. Also, for the second game, I used a keyboard/controller mapper to use my 360 controller, but the third game supported the controller.

Great, simple repackage of a classic game triology.Feb 09, 2011

This review will be short and simple. When the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time first came out, it was hailed as a unique and engaging new gaming experience. While this once-fresh formula has become quite common in the gaming world today (i.e. newer PoP games, Assassin's Creed series, Mirror's Edge, etc.), it was an exciting new extension of the platforming genre at the time. Fortunately, Sands of Time has aged quite well and it's still fun to play today. Plus, you get a simple yet engaging story to keep you going. While most would agree that the two sequels never quite lived up to the original, they still offer some enticing gameplay and stories that are decent enough. Ubisoft went for a darker mood in the later two games which disappointed many fans who loved the story-book charm of the first, but some will prefer the more 'mature' nature of the later two. Anyhow, all these games are great even by today's standards and the first is truly a classic. If you are looking to play them through for the first time or just want to have the whole trilogy all in one place, this is a great option. The packaging isn't fancy and all the manuals are digital on the disks, but what else do you need? All three games installed and ran smoothly on my 64-bit Windows 7 system with no notable errors or crashes to date. If this is your type of game then don't hesitate to buy. It's one hell of a deal at the current price!

Great games at a Great priceOct 21, 2010
By vvhitevvolf These games are great and blend adventure, puzzle solving and action for hours of entertaining gameplay. I would guess that all 3 games combined would be around 40-50 hrs. The first PoP, Sands of Time is a true classic and has almost a Disney feel to it. The second game PoP Warrior Within took the series in a much darker direction because of the events that happened in the first game. The 3rd game, PoP The Two Thrones added in some stealth elements and much more challenge. All 3 are a lot of fun and I recommend them all. The PoP series took the formula that was started in the Lara Croft Tomb Raider games and perfected it.
If you want a more detailed review of the games try gamespot or ign ect. I am simply posting this as a recommendation.
I should mention that these games are best played with a controller so if you are getting this for PC make sure you have a controller to play them. Also I had some trouble with the games Video and Audio being choppy, stuttering ect. the first thing to check is that windows media player buffer is set to 30 instead of the default 5 secs. If that does not help ( It helped me with different games but not PoP T2T ) I searched for quite awhile before finally finding a fix that worked. here is the instruction on how to solve this problem:
Go to My computer> Local Disk C:> programs file > UBISOFT> PrinceofPersiaT2T> Hardware.ini> Change NonPow2Textures=0 to NonPow2Textures=1 > File Save then Exit out and then right click Hardware.ini > select properties > check read-only box > select ok ~ Enjoy the smooth video playback :)
( It's amazing what 1 number can do lol )
Even today the gameplay in this series holds up and if you never played them or just want to re-live the experience you had years ago the Sands Of Time Trilogy is an excellent collection.
