One of my speakers blew out and i had a choice to replace one or just get a new set. I found these and figured it was best to just go for it and get a good new set. So far i am extemely happy- happy enough to get on here and take 5 to write a review! Finish is clean and bright. Power delivery seems good (i am not a pro but i know the sound i like). Transformer built in. If you are upgrading or want to get a quality set for a built in unit- can't go far wrong with these.

Tried to replace a surround sound satelite with this but no amount of setup adjustment on the receiver would compensate for lower volume from this speaker. Looked like the impedence and sensitivity ratings were good enough before buying it but a failed experiment. It is likely suitable for many uses and may have cost less than the white speaker grille that comes with it from anywhere else they can be had.
