....not damaged in any-way containing all listed parts and packing intact, sealed new, visually impressive and an earlier arrival than expected.
Now, on to the speaker.....i obviously expected the speaker to sound okay or i wouldn't have purchased in the first place. i took price into consideration, i'm sure better's possible with a hefty bank account, in my current situation balancing quality within my price range at times proven to be difficult....but....this purchase proved it possible.

As a previous review stated, broken on arrival. Packing was not damaged.
Had to send back twice before I received one I could use.
Plastic was cracked in several areas.
Sound is ok.
There are better products out there.

The cover plate has tabs on it that need to be pushed in to remove the cover prior to installation. This allows for no site screws and is a basic design like most in ceiling or in wall speakers. I put two pieces of 2x4 1 above and 1 below the speaker inside the wall to seal the enclosure, then drilled a 1 inch hole and inserted a plastic white grommet, this allows the speaker to breathe and increases the bass. It was a little extra work installing this way but the speaker bass sound was increased greatly.

First two shipments were broken, although the packaging appeared undamaged. The units may have been broken before packaging?? Have not yet tried the sound.

In order to install this you have to remove the grill, should not be a big deal. After about 1/2 hour and a utility knife I was able to remove the grill but destroyed it in the process. I am not an expert in audio by any means but this speaker did not sound good. I now have a complete in wall speaker theater with midlevel Polk speakers that is 100% better than the Pyle. Please shop around before you purchase this.
