High quality cableJan 22, 2011
By Brasewel Noronha This is a wonderful cable that I use to connect my Denon LA2000 headphones to my Nuforce DAC. The ends are solid and are of very good quality

Very light gauge wireJan 01, 2012

I ordered these to try out the XLR outs on my Emotiva XDA-1 DAC. The connectors on both ends are good, however, the wire gauge is very light. I didn't measure it but, unscrewing one of the connectors to take a peek left me unimpressed. I will be ordering some similar 16 gauge Monoprice cables when they come back in stock after the first of the year. They will only cost a couple bucks more with a serious increase in quality.
If you just want a basic connection these Pyle's will work, but they are not high end by any means.

Good quality cable at a great priceFeb 10, 2010
By ZimFromIrk I ordered this cable to replace some jury-rigged XLR to RCA connectors. This cable appears to be high quality, works great. No complaints, especially about the price which is less than my jury-rigged solution (a bunch of end-to-end adapters).
Good audio quality from Pyle. Solid construction apparent.May 24, 2012
By LIVE-StudioSound-MAN Needed these cables to run from an outboard preamp (to supply phantom power to condensors and provide some gain to DI guitar signals) to an RCA in sound card. The quality in my opinion is always better when going from XLR output (which the back of my preamp has) to XLR, and even when going to RCA. I could run the stereo 1/4 inch line outs and have an adapter or special cable from TS to RCA, but instead I really do notice the output is cleaner and the volume increased when using XLR variety outs.
The cable is marked Red and Black for convenience and is attached. The look is fairly standard but I did take notice of the high-quality, sturdy-style connector. (I don't know exactly how to describe it, but the point is it isn't the cheap, sheer-sided kind of connector on the XLR side.) And furthermore the RCA plugs are not too small (like some Monster cables) but also have the special, tapered slots for grip and achieving a better connection.
The cable felt a little bit thin and there is some audible signal noise (which could very well be from my economy pro-co cables or the microphone or guitar), so that is the only reason it doesn't earn the full 5/5. When I went to pull the cables apart somewhat (because there wasn't enough length between them to connect one side of the pre-amps output and the other at the same time), I noticed how thin the wire and rubber surround was (absolutely no room for shielding). Oh well, at this bargain price these cables are more-than-alright performers!
Works wellFeb 01, 2012

These cables work well, and do the job. No appreciable loss in fidelity in my setup. But I only have a small home studio.
