EXCELLENT LIGHT-WEIGHT SPEAKER STANDJan 17, 2011
By WayneWarmack After sawing about 1 foot off the bottom of the telescoping center post, this speaker stand is functioning perfectly as a stand for my Carvin amplifier, which is factory engineered with a bottom-center socket for just this purpose. I needed to get the Carvin off the floor so the control knobs would be closer to eye-level, and this stand perfectly does the job. In addition, this folding tripod stand is vastly easier to stow and transport than the bulky folding square lean-back stand I had been using. Purchased thru Amazon, I highly recommend it.

adequate standDec 15, 2010
By S. Segal This stand is strong and lightweight. It gets two stars because it arrived in poor condition, several bolts were loose, some had to be retrieved from the box and reattached (we had to figure out where and how they went), it was obvious that these were not meant for the customer to attach. A rubber protector piece was lodged inside the center column of the stand when it should have been attached on the end, we had to force it out and reattach it. We have a Pyle-Pro PA yet the unit fits so snugly it takes a lot of effort to remove the PA from the stand.
