Excellent Price/Peformance RatioDec 16, 2008

Can't beat the price per performance ratio of this item. It has quite a massive magnet structure for such a small price. Although the specs show it can reach down to 1Khz, I wouldn't use that as the crossover point... particularly if you select only a 6db per octave crossover. I would use a 2Khz crossover point... to prevent blowing the diaphragm.

Bought these tweeters for my DJ speakers. Their great. Quite heavy aswell.
They produce very crisp treble/midrange. They are extremly loud when turned up.

Ohm Loads vary too muchJun 04, 2011
By dm The horn sounds mediocre for the price, but we started using Pile speakers to replace damaged cabs, and then our amps started tripping. The culprit was the Ohm loads, which ranged from 6-12 ohms for these guys. We have since replaced them with Peavey's and everything is running well again.
