Good headphonesOct 23, 2009
By Vadj I bought these quite awhile ago. This was when noise cancel was first really coming out. Honestly they don't really cancel that much noise by today's standards. Still they do work and do their job. Strangely though sometimes I do get headaches from wearing them. It is kinda like motion sickness. Usually happens when you're trying to listen for the noise cancel lol.
Anyways, using a fIIo e3 headphone amp its pumping some pretty nice bass with a pretty nice sound. Have held up around 3-4 years of being thrown in a backpack. I like them.
Great!!!Feb 04, 2009
By James C. Weddle I like to watch movies on my iphone and needed something affordable that allow me to hear when ridding the bus. These really did work great as it completely drowns out all the road noise, talking and ambient sounds. I really did not expect much at this price but I was very happy with the results. You can definately hear the different when you turn the headphones on. Sound is very clear with lots of bass, it is like being in a stereo theatre in your car or bus!. I agree that the headphones are a little different but I can assure you that you just have to get used to them, they become comfortable. They just have to fit a little differently in order to create a snug fit on your ear. They best thing about them is that they are not bulky! I can wear these and I dont look stupid.

Extremely poor noise canceling and uncomfortableJan 18, 2006
By Troy Edwards I had tried a pair of the Sennheiser 250's. With those, you could hear a range of sound disapear and reapear as you turned them off and on. With these, you could hear a range of sound become slightly mufled.
The noise canceling is extremely poor.
Also, they are not very comfortable. The band digs into the top sides of my head.
But the real killer is, they actually made you feel as if you have motion sickness. No kidding. Again, I've tried other pairs of active noise cancelling headphones, and this did not occur
