HorribleMay 16, 2011
By Big Steve This is by far the worst phone I have ever owned. To start, there is no backlight for the LCD screen, and the screen is tilted backwards so you cannot see it from a foot away while sitting at a desk.
The phone also does not implement the two line feature well. Lines one and two are on a switch, so you can switch between either line one, or line two. If you have the phone switched onto line one, line two will not display Caller ID data if the phone rings. This is the same if you had line two switched, line one will display no CID data when it rings. The entire phone feels like a cheap piece of junk. The speaker phone hums, and sometimes will not even activate when the button is pressed. Stay away from this one.

Good inexpensive office phoneOct 07, 2011
By John For a basic office phone, this one works fine. I find the screen legible if you increase the contrast, the sound quality good, and the volume sufficient on both handset and speaker. Batteries are essential if you like caller ID, but not complicated to install.
Like most corded phones, the handset cord is short if you like to move around.
The real selling point for our office was the speakerphone and a real mute button. We often do conference calls and like to mute our line. We don't often set up 3-way calls, so I can't comment much on that feature.
The only complaint I have is that the speakerphone button has a slight delay from press to you hear a dial tone. Overall, a good phone for the price (we've had them about 4 months).

GarbageJul 19, 2011
By B. Pasmore I needed a speaker phone, this was inexpensive relative to others. It is junk. The volume on speaker is super low. It uses batteries not an external power supply which I guess makes it good for a place with frequent power outages. Otherwise, the quality is very low.
Nothing but TRASH!!!!Dec 09, 2011
By Carey C. Ziegler No wonder the seller gives you just 30 days to return. It took only 4 months for this RCA ViSys 25201RE1 Corded 2-Line Speakerphone with CID (Black)to stop working. What a rip!
