5This will save you alot in the long runApr 09, 2009

I have had 3 RMR units now 2 of which I still use. Let me tell you they have saved my back side several times. They work great and give you plenty of time to slow down before you reach the punch through zone. I have never gotten a speeding ticket since I started useing these jammers. The only reason I have bought 3 is bacause the radar types change. Our town just installed photo radar and my old one didn't pick it up this new one does.

5Great detectorSep 20, 2010

This detector works great. Warning starts way before any visual can be seen. Some people say the sound is not adequate....it seems to fine with us. No problems so far.

I have owed a whistler xr140 radar detector before, but since someone stole it from my car, I decided to go ahead and buy this one. Well, whistler was 41 dollars and this one was only 39 at the moment. Looking at the good reviews i really thought, man, its a better radar detector. Well, I was wrong. First of all its made of a cheap plastic, then it wont stay in the windshield long and falls down constantly due to short adapter. The company also provides a sticky thing, but it will not stick. Then radar has 2 different sounds, and its very announcing. Sounds like very cheap 1990 electric... Im thinking about selling it and getting a whistler especially now that KAT500 costs 53 dollars. What a rip off for a cheap product. This radar should cost 20-30 dollars tops.

5Works great!Dec 28, 2011

I can't tell you how many tickets this has saved me from. When you drive a fast car and stand out of the normal cars, it's a great thing to have. The only down fall is trying to reach over to switch it to city mode so the automatic doors in stores doesn't set it off, so I just unplug it till it's time to hop back on the highway.
