A little pricey - works greatFeb 19, 2011

I tried a couple of different stick on emitters with limited success. The stick ons are a pain when I have to move the equipment or access the wiring. Happens rarely, but they easily fall off and no longer stick. The stick on units have to be lined up over the IR receiver on each piece of equipment. My DVD was very picky with the placement and worked about half the time.
I ordered two of these to go along with the Speakercraft AT-1.0 Amplified Terminator Unit. They work like a charm. One on the top of the cabinet and one on the bottom controls everything.
One caution - you have to make sure that the equipment is not receiving ANY IR signal directly from the remote. Receiving both will cause interference and prevent proper operation.
The setup for all three pieces was a little pricey, but now that it works, very well worth it.
