Perfect Fit, plugs right in.Mar 01, 2012
By Mike T. I got this and wired it up and everything was great except there was no sound in my car(2008 SI Sedan). I learned that this harness isn't the one for cars that have the premium sound system (EX, SI). After some research I found out that you simply have to splice the remote wire (blue/white or blue) into the light blue wire on the factory harness to power on the factory amp and turn on the factory speakers. That didn't work for me either. I rewired it up with RCA's attached to the wiring harness to use my headunit's low-level line outs and that still didn't work. All this time my subs would be one and kicking but no sound in the car. SO after about a week of frustration and ripping out my dirvers seat to get to the factory amp, I just decided to purchase the Metra 70-1727 Factory Amplifier Bypass Harness for 2006 Honda Civic Vehicles which bypasses the amp altogether. For a regular civic owner I say go for this harness, but for a premium sound system, I say just get the amp bypass. It'll save you touching you factory harness and probably some days of frustration.
Harness ReviewJan 23, 2012
By Boat My car: 2010 DX-G. Installed, the pins bent a little bit(still worked), but after bending back and carefully inserting there were no issues to speak of Pros: Cheap. No issues Cons: No clip to factory harness
good purchaseJul 04, 2011
By Bülent Altnay that was a good purchase...the harness fits well to the factory socket...but there isn't any locking mechanism on it...so it can be loosen... as a result I recommend this harness who want to change their stock radio... (dropped one star because of locking mechanism)
Just what I needed.Jan 05, 2011

"It is what it is!"
This is exacly what I expected and works flawlessly. I have no complaints on the quality or functionality. This made the wiring much easier than it would have been without it.
Some people have stated that these items have the power lead and the negative lead switched, but the one I got did not. I double-checked mine before the install and everything was in the correct order.
Also, I appreciate how the ends were "pre-stripped." Very helpful.

different harness deliveredSep 14, 2010
By emmanuel catahan The code of the harness I ordered is HA10B for my 2009 honda civic. However, what was delivered was HA01B, which is for an 83-85 Honda. I will not be able to return the product anymore since it is already here in the Philippines. I just hope that the people who handle deliveries make sure that they are shipping the correct product.
