OEM battery at a great priceApr 06, 2005
By Philip Davis Although the product title says "for DCRVX2100 & HDRFX1", this is an L-series battery that works perfectly in my older DCR-TRV103 Handycam.
And holy cow does it work! The battery that came with the Handycam never managed to last for 60 minutes, especially if I used the LCD. Now I can record all day, literally, with 600+ minutes of juice. The added bulk and weight are minor, especially considering the convenience of the longer run time.
Based on other Amazon battery reviews, it looks like folks have been scammed with no-name batteries substituted for OEM. Not the case with me. Still, maybe folks should base a review on their actual experience with the product instead of X-Files-style paranoid delusions.

I am very disappointed with the battery i received, battery is suppose to last up to 5 or 6 hours and all it lasted was 1 hour. I paid alot of money and it is not worth the money. Very disappointed.

Rock solid performerAug 04, 2011
By CharlieMike Be careful when buying this type of battery. I use these batteries on a Sony Z5U and MCX2000. At first, I bought clones and knock offs. Big mistake. A total waste of money. Then, I bought what I thought were OEM batteries at terrific prices. Each of those turned out to be counterfeits. Finally, I bit the bullet and only buy from Amazon itself or well known, long established, photo supply houses. It would have been much cheaper and much less frustrating to have paid the extra money in the first place. Learn from my errors. Stick with OEM.

The truth is out thereNov 22, 2004
By The Truth is out there There is no way that "North East Power & Battery" sells this Sony NPF770 L Series InfoLithium Battery. Why? Very simple. Look in "About North East Power & Battery" and you will see the following statement:
## ...All Items listed are guaranteed to meet or exceed the original manufacturers specifications and be 100 percent compatable with models listed. We do not sell Sony®, DELL®, IBM®, Toshiba® and others but the battery or power adapter is guaranteed compatible. ##

I have to say that i have ordered the wrong product from this supplier and i was outside the country in a vacation when i came back the return period was expired, the dealer refused to even entertain any discussion with me to accept replacing the battery or return at half of its price.
I really dont recommend anyone to buy from this supplier or vendor.
thanks
