Incompatible with single receiver systemsOct 26, 2005
By A. Koeller

Nowhere in the description or packaging does it say that this antenna requires a satellite multiswitch. A multiswitch is used for systems using more than 1 TV/receiver. The antenna amplification comes from the satellite multiswitch, and without amplification, this antenna is no better than a pair of simple rabbit ears.
This antenna may work great for those with multi-room satellite setups, but it was worthless for me.

pay attention to technologyJun 23, 2005
By J. D. Robinson I have a dishnetwork 942 HDTV DVR system. This antenna is designed for a much older system. It doesn't fit the dish very easily and was difficult to secure. I can't tell if it works because so far it just seems to be incompatible with my system.

Very good but not excellentFeb 22, 2007
By Charles W. Cerny In the suburbs of Dallas, this unit works well. We are able to get most of the local channels to supplement our DirecTV channels. There isn't as much adjustment as we would like but we are satisfied with the overall performance. It does much better than the powered indoor antenna that we had been using. We wouldn't recommend it for more rural users because we don't think it would pull in distant stations.

Horrible HDTV AntennaAug 17, 2005
By C. Maner This antenna was a tremendous waste of money. It did not do any of the things advertised on Amazon.com or Terk.com. I could only barely receive 1 station and that picture was very poor quality. I can get 3 channels with rabbit ears and they are much better quality. It also significantly reduced, 10-15%, the signal reception on all 3 satellite LNB's. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for an HDTV antenna. This poor quality device added to the poor quality of DirecTV in general makes me wish everyday that I had stayed with Cable TV.
