This dish works to receive single satellite non-HD DirecTV. I put it up myself using simple tools. It took about one and a half hours including finding and tweaking signal on the satellite. (The Sony receiver I have has a
function for aiming the dish, and I presume all sat receivers have this. It is simple.) Works great.

This is the same type of dish that Direct TV installed when I subscribed to their service. It is very easy to assemble, and the picture is great.

We have been using this for a couple of years now. It works fine. I would have given it 5 stars except that it came with no directions for hooking it up. We did finally figure it out by trial and error. But it does work like it is supposed to. I seem to remember that shipping was quite high on it too.

I ordered a Direct Tv dish from this person and it said it would ship within 3 weeks. Why does it take 3 weeks to ship something? I sent 3 emails to this person and never got a response at all. I will be canceling my order and filing a claim with Amazon. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PERSON.

Excellent item but box was not secure enough. One screw was missing because the box was opened partially and all the bolts and screws were lose in the box. I am amazed that only one screw was lost. I recommend more tape as one single strip of tape did not do it. This could be fixed with more tape. The dish was in excellent shape and is mounted and working fine. Directions would help and they can be downloaded from the Internet. However, the price was great! Better packing could save some hardship for others in the future, MORE TAPE. Thanks a lot for the dish. I'm happy all in all.
