 Using Print Shop 23.1Oct 13, 2010

Print Shop 23.1 does what Print Shop 2.0 cannot do and that is - to open the many projects created in recent, earlier versions of Print Shop. Both Print Shop 23.1 and 2.0 are compatible with Windows 7 but vers. 23.1 allows access to other, earlier, projects as vers. 2.0 does not. Without vers. 23.1 these projects would have been lost to me and all the effort they represent.

Yep. Same-old Print Shop. Easy to use, easy to print, with excellent results every time. The program has been updated, and there are more features, but it's straight-out-of-the-box simple-to-use. And it works perfectly with Win 7.

After upgrading to Windows 7, I was frustrated to find I could no longer use Printshop Deluxe version 20. I spent way too much time trying to solve this problem. I have done a photo collage with captions for Christmas cards every year on Printshop, and was not eager to learn a new program. I was so happy to find that this program works exactly like the old program, but has some added features. I was able to open last year's card and use it as a template for this year's without having to reformat anything. The old program had developed a bug and wouldn't crop pictures accurately. The new one crops fine and offers more cropping choices. It also has more photo editing choices. I can't comment on those much, because I use Photoshop Elements to fix photos. If you like your old version of Printshop, but it doesn't work on Windows 7, this program is your answer.
I haven't looked at the newer versions of Printshop, but based on their reviews, they don't look that great. If you are looking for an easy way to make cards or posters or other graphic items, you can't beat this one for $10.

Works with Vista. Low priced. Not a lot of perks but meets my basic needs. A little frustrating that some of the templates shown are only available on the deluxe version. But for $10 who can complain.

Bought this to replace my earlier Print Shop version that won't work with Windows 7. Simple program that works great for the money. Have enjoyed all the Print Shop versions I have had and this one did not disappoint.
