 Overheat and swellsJun 10, 2008

This Ultralast battery overheated in cam to the point that it swelled and started to split at seams. Swelling was enough that battery cover wouldn't close. I've never had a prob with the original Sanyo battery. I'll pay a little more and get anothr Sanyo battery for my backup.

Certainly cheaper than the brand name battery, and so far seems to be working as well. Granted, I have not timed how long it lasts compared to the original, but seems to be comparable.

The factory battey worked fine for about a yr then just died one day, which is a pretty lousy life span. This one came quickly and works fine for now, but the real question is how long will it last? For only $12 though I am not sure how much I can expect. 4 stars assuming it lasts atleast a yr

I got 3 for a hiking trip. They were used in a Sanyo video/photo camera. Most of the shots were photos(700+), with about an hour of video. Not much of a test. No problems so far and much less expensive than the alternatives.
