 Size Converter Can Be a Great ValueJun 28, 2009

I have a grandfather clock with a mechanism requiring C cells. This is the only device I own needing C cells. Batteries will last from 9 months to a year before I need to change them. For me, it does not pay to stock-up on extra C batteries. These converter shells are an excellent substitute. Simply pop one AA cell in each shell and use the shell to replace a C cell. In low-drain devices this is a great solution. The clock works perfectly and I already stock-up on AA batteries, so it's win-win for me. I expect this would not be a good solution for high-drain devices, such as a portable stereo or in devices requiring a high M-AH rating, so your mileage may vary.

I use 27000 MAH AA batteries in these for my Vox amp and it lasts me 7 to 8 hours of playing. these save me a lot of money on batteries! My amp takes C batteries and those are expensive!
