This battery fits and works for my car keyAug 06, 2010
By Jeffhdz Bought this battery for my car key (with the keyless entry remote) about 6 months ago and installed it. No problem with fitting and much cheaper than buying from the dealer. The key still works well after 6 months, and probably will last a couple years.
Update: the battery died after about 18 months after its initial installation into my car key. This is much shorter than the original battery, which lasted for almost 5 years. Reduce to 3-star rating for this reason.

It doesn't work!Feb 26, 2010
By S. Chandler I purchased this Ultralast 1616 for my car remote. It doesn't work; even though it measures 3.26 volts. I think it is just too thin to make contact with the contacts in the remote. I tried bending up the contacts in the remote and still not luck. I found some Energizer brand cr1616 batteries and they are working perfectly. BE AWARE, you can not return this product.

A good batteryMar 19, 2011

"good deed"
Ultralast UL-1616 Lithium Button Cell Battery DL1616: I needed a couple watch bateries so I included a couple in a larger order. This being one of them. A great match. My watch now keeps the correct time. Note: if you have a tester. You can poke a small hole in the package to test the battery before you OWN it. I do this now because I bought a watch battery from a local department store that was DOA. That battery was close to $4. I spent about half that here. Enough said.
