FINALLY earbuds that aren't painful to wear, wonderful!!Apr 11, 2009
By D. Strickland The title of this review says it all. I've gone through too many earbuds to finally find a pair that don't fall out and don't hurt my ears. The original/standard iPod earbuds are too big as are all I've tried before. I have to push them in at an odd angle and can only stand them for 10 minutes at the most.
These V-Moda earbuds are perfect for my apparenty small ear openings. I used the adapters that came with them out of the box and am now pain-free. The other adapters it comes with are way too large but it's great to have choices. I'm buying another pair in a different fun color for my laptop.

Awesome!May 12, 2007
By B. Wilson These are a 10 fold improvement over the generic earbuds that came with my Ipod. Awesome treble and thumping bass. I never expected such quality from earbuds, but this brand delivers.
Bass-Freq = huge sound in a tiny package
Well worth the price!

Absolutely AWESOME HeadphonesSep 04, 2011
By ockadox I've owned Westone UM1's, JVC Marshmallow, Sony, MEElectronics and these are the best headphones for thumping bass if you like Techno, Trance, Hard Dance, House, etc. I got mine here on Amazon for 11.50. The frequency range is what tells you how good these guys thump. And these go from 8hZ to 22khZ LOVE EM!

Great quality for the priceJul 07, 2011
By Xtian These are my 2nd pair I think they are a little bass heavy, but most people like that. I prefer mid and highs so it's more of a preference issue. For the price I don't know of any others that will beat the quality and isolation that these have. One of the main reason I purchased them was because they come with different ear bud adapters that isolate noise really well, better than I expected. I use these mainly for noise isolating purposes during studying, but the sound is very clear.

Great earbuds, but broke wayyy too soonSep 28, 2007

I have to say that I loved these ear buds. They produced great bass as advertised and were really cute to sport with my iPod everyday on the DC metro. HOWEVER, I cannot in good faith give them a great review as they broke within 3-4 months of my purchase! I was just like you, reading these reviews on Amazon about them and disregarding the bad reviews where users had their fray, short out, etc. because surely that wouldn't happen to me.
Well, it did. Yesterday the left bud began shorting out like crazy on my way home. At first I thought it was just a temporary glitch that would fix itself somehow...you know, the jack was plugged in funny or something like that. Nope, they were just broken. I managed to get them in a position in my back pocket where they would only short in and out with the rhythm of my walking, but obviously that's unacceptable and very irritating.
I also got my first ear infection since I was a toddler using these, but I don't blame this brand specifically for that.
Now I'm tasked with the job of starting all over again and trying to find suitable earbuds for my commute as well as for pleasure-listening at home. Bass is so important to me, and I'm not a basshead...I just prefer to feel my music. I can't bear to buy another pair of these right now after they JUST BROKE for NO REASON, so if anyone has some suggestions for full-bodied, bass-rich yet clear earbuds...make a comment and let me know. I'm looking into the Sony MDR-EX90LPs from the CNET "Best under $100" review.
