This simple lock out device can save your life ! ! ! and make your electrical maintenance go much more smoothly too ! !
It is unfortunate how few people know about this simple life saver.
Having owned several houses ranging in age from 14 to 99 years old I know how horribly wrong the labeling on the load center (breaker box) usually is. This device allows me to lock out a ceiling light or ceiling fan in seconds without having to trace down circuits. It also generally allows me to keep power available in the room regardless of how the wiring was done.
