Forget about that tired 4:3 ratio we are still seeing some old school television shows. From LCD and Plasma TVs, to computer monitors, both of the Laptop and desktop varieties, widescreen is where it's at. So why not give your computer mouse full use of the screen? Allsop widescreen mouse pads are for those who find it necessary to navigate their screen without repositioning their mouse when they run into the edge of an undersized mouse pad. We're talking about graphics professionals, music producers, mechanical engineers and sleep-deprived gamers. While this pad is wider to match your screen, we use the same surface we've been famous for since we introduced our first mouse pad 30 years ago. It's smooth, but not too smooth. It's soft, but not too soft. It's made from a specially woven fabric to provide better tracking points for your optical mouse. And besides all of that, the raindrop image is a nice way to bring a touch of the outdoors to your desk without resorting to a novelty image or photo. | | | Features: | |

Allsop Mouse Pad - My Mouse Is In WaterOct 12, 2011

OK, if you read the title, then your asking yourself, why is this guys mouse in water? Well, technically, its not not in water, it just looks like it is.
I needed a new mouse pad for my new Mustang mouse. Maybe lazer mice can track just fine on a bed comforter, but an optical mouse won't!
This is a very wide mouse pad, probably the widest I have ever seen, around 1.5 feet. However, the height is the same as any other mouse pad I have used, 1 foot.
The depth of this mouse pad however, is the smallest I have ever seen, I would say its about 1/16 of an inch thick, as opposed to the 1/8 to 1/4 standard.
I find that my mouse glides over the surface very nicely. Just the right about of slickness to allow it to glide, but not so much its going to fling off the pad and hit your little kitty in the face.
I absolutely love the water texture, it really does have a metallic feel to it, as if a sheet of metal wet with water. I highly recommend this mouse pad for optical's and lazers.
Does what it's supposed toAug 02, 2010
By Ranga I like the color. The texture and how it feels. Been using it for more than 6 months and haven't had any problems. Works extremely well with my high dpi laser mouse.

Larger is betterOct 12, 2010
By K. benford I was looking for the larger pads. Have always had Allsop, so I bought 2 of these and now my mouse can go whereever it wants to. They are good quality, no problems with contact.
