PLUG AND PRAY!!!Dec 11, 2007
By Charlie P every time you turn on the computer keep your fingers crossed, sometimes it is connected and sometimes it is not... basically you have to unplug the adaptor and just keep plugging it back in till you can use it... SAVE YOUR MONEY, and stay with wires one of these years the technology may catch up to expectations...
why two stars? when it does work it is great, smooth and comfortable... sometimes the shift to capitol letters does not work the first time.

Had this set for over a yearJan 18, 2010
By Denise L. Pierson I bought this mouse and keyboard set over one year ago and have found it to be one of the best purchases I have ever made. I was looking for an inexpensive wireless mouse and keyboard, and that's what I got. plug it in and go, simple as that
PROS: Cheap
Works well for the price
No installation (plug n' play)
Good sensitivity in the mouse
Good battery life in both mouse and keyboard
CONS: No indicator for low battery life (this has caused some minor frustration until I realized it needed new batteries)

Positive Endorsement HereFeb 24, 2010
By Alan Brinton I have several other wireless keyboards and mice (including Bluetooth) (mostly Logitech) that I use with several computers and a PS3, and this works as well as anything for me with both Vista and Windows 7. I'm currently using this combo with a Dell Inspiron Zino in my AV system from about 9 feet away. The keyboard is compact and aesthetically attractive. I especially like the two tone color scheme, which makes it easier to focus on the keys.

Works great without any flaws every timeJan 31, 2010

This keyboard and mouse combo work very well. Its stands up to abuse from the kids. I use it in my den area and have my desktop installed in a closet behind the wall my big screen is mounted to. Even with the wall obstruction and using the keyboard and mouse over 9ft away it works fine! I haven't experienced any of the connection glitches with this 2008 - 2009 version of the keyboard, but I had startup connection problems with the one I bought in 2007 (The 2007 combo is not working anymore b/c of too much abuse from the kids).
Pros Great range Works reliably Windows 7 compatible You can install the supplied software to see if the number lock or caps lock are on Still working after being dropped on hardwood floor several times. (Mouse & Keyboard; actually had snap the mouse back together) Scroll function on mouse Previous page/forward page history buttons on mouse You only need to connect the 1 small usb stick to your computer for the keyboard and mouse I use cheap rechargeable rayovac batteries in it and they last for over two months, even with it being used daily.
Cons No battery indicator Battery cover would fall off all the time. (I fixed with small piece of clear tape that reseals when i have to recharge batteries) No backlit key option I would prefer to have a silent keyboard/quiet touch keyboard.
Only 1/2 workedSep 08, 2011
By KiraVanguard When I first bought this and they worked, the wireless connection was not too good. Very touchy about how far away you were (like sitting on the bed a foot away from where you usually sit) or how high it was. If it was lower than the monitor on the desk it would not respond. The keyboard died not even after a month of using. The mouse worked by itself fine and just died. I dont remember but i think the set up was annoying too.
