Works on Windows 7Mar 16, 2010
By BCFL I saw questions on whether or not this webcam worked with Windows 7, and if it had a clip for the monitor - I didn't find the answers, but it was on sale so I gave it a shot. For those that have the same questions, yes and yes. I plugged the USB in, and Windows 7 recognized it right away. Behind the black base, there is a little hook for the laptop monitor.
The video quality looks pretty decent, but I can't vouch for a connected video call yet, or the sound quality (the mic does work though). Skype found the cam with no problem, and I assume other IM services will too - I just haven't connected with anyone yet (It's late, and I just plugged it in).
One more FYI - the cord is pretty short, maybe around 2-2.5 feet. Hope that helps!

Picture quality good but slowJun 23, 2008
By L. Eng The picture quality of the camera is good for still pictures. However, the video is slow to the point where there is a lag between the video and the audio. Easy install. Not very efficient for web conferencing.
