Hooray!Jul 25, 2011
By Mom of 8 I have struggled for years with the sickening feeling of rage mingled with despair when disc after disc ends up scratched. Why can't somebody make some kind of protective coating--I've even wondered if clear fingernail polish would work. Then last month I rented a DVD at a small school library and saw these disc protectors. The librarian told me what they were called and where to buy them. The price seemed a bit ridiculous (over $1 each for a tiny circle of plastic film--and thus 4 stars instead of 5) but I decided to give them a try anyway. Thus far they have worked perfectly for me and have never caused a problem in the DVD player, although I have yet to try them in in WII or the computer disc drive. I still think the price is outrageous, yet I am now ordering a second set, and will probably end up ordering a third unless I can find some other solution. I figure that $1.33 extra per disc to protect it will definitely pay off in the long run. A very happy find for me!
Do Not Buy This ProductJun 05, 2011
By Mmaddog I ordered this product in good faith, but when I recieved the items they failed 100% of the time. I tried the product on 3 different cd players ( 1 Blue Ray, 2 regular ) using 3 different dvd movies. They all gave the exact same error " No Disk Error".
I would love to buy this kind of product if it would work, the concept is great. But this item is useless.
