Use this with the A00 tip to make a car charger for your KindleJan 18, 2008

I have confirmed in practice and using iGo's website that the combination of this iGo Auto charger (PS00252-0005) with the iGo power tip A00 (6600600-01) iGo A00 Sprint Phones Power Tip works to charge my Amazon Kindle in my car. Using iGo's website to confirm this combo enter: select your device=Other, select the brand=Amazon, select the model=Kindle.

Dependable powerNov 17, 2007

I have bought aftermarket chargers that fall apart after a few months. Not so the iGo. This is a fine little product, it does the job quietly and well. I find the interchangeable tips to be a great idea. When I change phones, it's only a few bucks to get a new tip. This charger is sturdy and looks like I'll get a couple of years out of it.

Think about the long termFeb 24, 2008
By Cynergy This is a good long term purchase for the following reasons 1) Can charge multiple items without having bulky chargers for each one. I keep tips for our cell phones and ipod in the car 2) Upgrade or change cell phones/other electronics? No need to buy another charger, just a little tip. Less to throw out, a little more eco friendly in the long run

Great ProductJan 17, 2008
By D. Bartolome Before, I had always made sure to use car chargers made by the phone's manufacturer. I've always had bad luck with generic car chargers eventually failing. But the problem with the OEM chargers is that they're typically a bit pricey.
But this charger is much cheaper, and allows you to simply buy new tips for new phones. This allows you to save a lot of money. As far as reliability, only time will tell. But they sell this product on AT&T's website, so I'm sure it's much better than the generic chargers. So far, so good.
The only minor issue I have is that, unlike the picture, the charger I received from Amazon wasn't silver with a blue light. Mine was champagne with a green light. Not a big deal, since it still works the same. But the silver with blue light looks a lot a nicer.

Love it!Nov 26, 2007
By E. Braun These are fabulous! I've had mine for 3 or 4 years now. They're way more cost-effective than constantly buying new cell chargers.
Extra bonus-they work on other stuff too, like your GPS or ipod. The website can tell you which 'tips' you need. Those run about $10.
It's good in the long term, although changing tips and plugging stuff in when you need to charge different things is a pain if you're driving. Pull over first! They also sell a splitter for this so you can charge more than one thing at once.
The blue lighting on the charger is also cool.
