This is what you call a small all in one package. You get a Lamp,iPod Speaker,iPod Charger all in 1.
Dont let the size fool you...The sound on this item is great!!

Purchased this for daughter to use in a college dorm. Sound quality is about what you'd expect for the price, not bad but not concert hall. Similar unit available for sale at Target retail stores would not accept her 4th generation Ipod, this unit works fine with it. The blue inner lamp shade is almost opaque, so no glare.

I order stuff from Amazon often(probably too often) and I am generally always pleased with the quality of products and the timeliness of the deliveries. This lamp is the exception. JUNK. So cheaply made that the neck that supports the lamp, isn't strong enough t support it, it just slumps to the desk. Don't waste your time, at the price it s not worth the trouble of returning so you ll be stuck with a 5 lb piece of rubbish.

The metal frame did not hold the weight of the head. When I switched it on it made a buzzing noise and flickered (as if its short circuiting). After I switched it off it had a burning smell. Don't buy this lamp.
